Free access pass to both the private Nines complex (outdoor heated pool open between Easter and October Half Term full time, then open over Christmas and NY only) and the main on-site luxury Spa, with slate lined 20 metre indoor and outdoor heated pools, outdoor plunge eco pool, steam room, sauna, fully equipped gym and treatment rooms for a range of massages and spa beauty sessions.

Lower Mill Estate also has two tennis courts, two children’s play areas, a soft play area and 450 acres of private nature reserve with lakeside walks and cycle routes. Wildlife includes over-wintering wildfowl, otters, owls, bats, deer, and the first European Beavers to be introduced in England.

Glorious, glorious, glorious!”

A glorious week in glorious accommodation in a glorious setting! We had the best time nearly all spent on site with lots of tennis, swimming and cycling. One great day out in Cirencester and another at Neigh Bridge Country Park. A real bonus having all the toys/games here which meant that all of us from a 2 year-old to a 63 year-old had a brilliant time! Thank you! – August 24 SO

“a poem for Lagoon Villa…”

The house it all felt very roomy, the Bittern was exceedingly boomy. We loved the loo with a view, Studley Grange is a great little zoo, but at times the weather was a little bit gloomy.

The Ballihoo was great for some dinner, the sharing platter was a great winner. The lamb was also great, I cleared my entire plate, and definitely not coming home any thinner!

Soft play is good on a rainy day, you just need to book it and pay. But if your child needs a poo, it’s a bit of a trek to the loo, so encourage young ones to go on the way.

The kids loved the pools and the playpark was fun. The 5k route was good for a run! Wellies for beaver watching essential, sunny weather would have been preferential…

We took a trip to Bourton on the Water, because we felt that we oughta. But I can confirm, don’t go in half term, it’s so busy you’ll want to cut your trip shorter!!

Had a great weekend with 3 generations. We recommend Studley Grange in Swindon for farm, mini zoo, butterfly house and fish. (and massive soft play) – really good value. Loved being part of Somerford Nines and having our own outside pool, sauna, gym. Fun fishing out frogs! The local church at Ashton Keynes was very welcoming and the walk along the River Thames to Ashton Keynes is lovely. A great week despite the mixed weather. We would happily return – May 24 DE

“watching the wildlife do their thing was beautiful and so peaceful”

A brilliant stay at Lagoon Villa… The home worked so well for 3 sets of families and wasn’t short of anything we needed. Sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea watching the wildlife do their thing was beautiful, and so peaceful. Having the lake so close was perfect for paddle boarding. We also had days out at Bourton-on-the-Water, Cotswold Wildlife Park (dog friendly) and visited Diddly Squat Farm Shops (Jeremy Clarkson). Suus and Jane were amazing with their ease of contact and efficiency, and their standards are high. All in all a fabulous week away celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. Thank you x Apr 24 NN

We’ve just returned from our second visit to Lagoon Villa, and left feeling just as impressed as we did the first time. 

We have a similar sized holiday letting agency in The Lake District – so not only is supporting an independent company important to us – but finding accommodation that offers the high level of service, housekeeping and guest experience that we strive for ourselves can be a challenge; it’s safe to say that Suus and the Cotswolds Sleeps team have got it just right. Our stay was perfect! 

Everything about Lagoon Villa, and the Lower Mill Estate in general, feels exclusive. The surroundings are tranquil and the high quality fixtures and fittings in the house itself make for an excellent stay. The kitchen is well equipped and makes self catering easy and stress free. The outdoor space (particularly the balcony off the master bedroom) is the perfect place for a morning cuppa or an evening tipple – we love it all. Thank you for another great stay and we’ll look forward to staying again in the years to come – Sept 2023 RH

“The private pool/gym/sauna for just nine properties, frankly, left us feeling like celebrities!”

The house speaks for itself (it’s gorgeous!), but the attention to detail from Cotswold Sleeps sets this place apart. The house was immaculately clean, the linen and towels were luxurious and the small touches like a loaf of fresh bread and butter just instantly made us feel at home. Suus was available throughout our stay for anything and everything and really went out of her way to make our trip one to remember. She excels.

Lagoon Villa is set within an exclusive, gated area of the Lower Mill Estate and access to a private pool/gym/sauna for just nine properties, frankly, left us feeling like celebrities! The estates private spa and wellness area was equally beautiful – the treatments were excellent value and both the indoor and outdoor pool were fabulous. We enjoyed evening refreshments at The Ballihoo (onsite bar/restaurant) and made full use of the natural lagoons for paddle-boarding and kayaking. The whole estate is truly beautiful and somewhere we now feel very lucky to have stayed – Jun 2023 RH
